Maple Music Lounge is dedicated to discovering, celebrating and sharing the stories shaping Canadian music. As the editorial arm of Maple Music Café, we welcome news and story opportunities from artists, publicists, record labels, managers, venues and music industry organizations across Canada.

Canadian music is our priority. We focus on Canadian musicians, emerging and established artists, songwriters, producers and the people and organizations working behind the scenes of Canada’s music industry. International artists may also be considered when there is a meaningful Canadian connection or a story of particular interest to our Canadian audience.

By submitting material to The Maple Music Lounge, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  • Submission does not guarantee publication. We welcome press releases, artist news, music releases, tour announcements, interview requests and media kits; however, all submissions are reviewed at the discretion of our editorial team. Inclusion is based on editorial relevance, quality, timeliness and available publishing capacity.
  • Accuracy of information. You are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and up to date, including artist names, release dates, tour schedules, venue details, credits and contact information. The Maple Music Lounge reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, style, grammar and length while preserving factual accuracy.
  • Rights to submitted materials. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to provide all accompanying materials, including photographs, logos, artwork and press assets. You grant The Maple Music Lounge permission to use these materials in connection with editorial coverage across our website, newsletters and social media channels.
  • Editorial independence. The Maple Music Lounge maintains full editorial independence. Published content reflects our editorial standards and may include additional research, fact-checking or revisions. We may decline or remove content at our discretion.
  • Timely submissions. To maximise the opportunity for coverage, please submit releases, tour announcements and event information well in advance of the public announcement or release date. Late submissions may not be reviewed in time for publication.
  • Updates and corrections. If information changes after submission, including release dates, tour schedules or artist details, please notify us promptly so we can review and update published content where appropriate.
  • Newsletter communications. By submitting this form, you consent to receiving occasional editorial updates, industry news and publication announcements from The Maple Music Lounge. You may unsubscribe at any time.
